Flávia Simões Falcão was born on July 20, 1959 in the city of Porto Alegre - RS. She holds a Law degree from the University of Brasilia, where she graduated in 1983.
She was a civil servant of the Regional Labour Court of the 9th Region, from 1978 to 1983, and of the Superior Labour Court, from 1984 to 1988, having worked on the Commission for the creation of the Regional Labour Court of the 10th Region and, later, at the office of Regional Labour Court Judge Heloísa Pinto Marques.
She was approved in public tenders for the Federal Prosecutors, in which she served as Federal Labour Prosecutor, from 1988 to 1999. In this institution, she was elected a member of the Superior Council of the Federal Prosecutors for the 1994-1996 biennium. In 1999, she took up the position of Regional Labour Court Judge of the 10th Region, in a spot destined to the Federal Prosecutors. In that Court, she was part of the public tender, judge probationary period and information technology commissions. She was Ombudsman Judge and President of the 1st and 2nd Chambers. In the 2006-2008 biennium, she was President and Regional Inspector of the of the 10th Region.
She served as an Advisor to the Superior Council of Labour Justice, from 2007 to 2008.
She was Director of the Judicial School for the biennia 2010/2012, 2012/2014, 2018-2020 and, again, she is the Director of the Judicial School for the 2020/2022 biennium.
She participated, as a member, of the Advisory Board of ENAMAT, in the biennia 2011-2013 and 2013-2015. In the 2020-2022 biennium, she returned to the National School Board.
